Trittenheim lies at the very heart of the Middle Mosel's southern reaches, surrounded by legendary steep vineyards that are the cradle of so many grand Mosel wines. The small village is home to just a thousand residents, and yet its name routinely graces fine wine lists the world over. Its reputation comes in no small part thanks to two famous vineyard sites located within its boundaries: the "Altärchen" and the "Apotheke.”
